Atlanta Portrait Garden: One Year Session

Happy 1st Birthday Landon!

First I want to tell you how special this couple is and how truly grateful we are to celebrate the first year with the Shin family.  This couple is so romantic and photographing them in our Atlanta Portrait Garden is just so perfect!  We first photographed Landon on his 100 day birthday.  In Korea 100 days is a HUGE celebration!  Long ago in Korea, childhood diseases were common and the survival rate for children was very low.  To protect their babies, parents refrained from taking the babies outdoors until the 100th day after his or her birth.  Landon had a wonderful 100 day celebration.  Now these portraits are to celebrate his first year of life, and will also serve as decoration for his birthday party.

Atlanta Portrait Garden

This beautiful garden is such a treat for us.  The garden belongs to a dear friend of ours.  The first time we met him for bible talk, he said, “My garden is your garden.”  10 minutes later, we said, “we have a photo session tomorrow, can we photograph the family here?”  Little did we know 6+ years later it would be our magical garden.  During this time we have photographed so many families and children portrait sessions here.  We call this “OUR Atlanta Portrait Garden.”

Mommy is so proud of her baby boy!  Mommy will of course be his “First Love.”

I’m so in love with this candid family portrait.  They are sitting next to the koi pond. Undoubtedly one of my favorite features to the Atlanta Portrait Garden.

Such a happy boy!  Such a sweet smile!

Bubbles are always a favorite for the kids.  So we always have them in our “tool box.”
